2008 ADOPTION DAYS
Basset Rescue of Montana participated in Petsmart's
Spring Adoption Days,
which were held May 4th, 2008 at the PetsMart in Missoula, Montana. The event ran from Noon until 4 p.m. Angel Hinson, our dedicated Foster Mom, and I showed off three houndies: Peggy, Lady, and Ruby, all of whom need good homes. Our goal was to drum up interest in our homeless hounds, teach the public about bassets, and sell our raffle tickets for the WINTER RAFFLE, which comes to a close may 20th!
We sold some raffle tickets and were blessed by raising $85.00 that day. We all met a lot of folks and had a great day. We received one application for Peggy and Lady, our bonded pair, and are waiting to see how that turns out. One gentleman was so touched by our Peggy, that he laid down beside her and "loved on her" for a while.
