ATTENTION: ALL applications submitted must have an $8.00 donation attached. This donation may be paid by money order, check, or PayPal (the link to PayPal is below). Due to the overwhelming amount of applications we receive, and the time we spend on each one, plus phone calls, reimbursement of volunteers for gas & mileage, etc., it has become necessary to require this small donation. We will send receipts upon request, of course.
DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS:
Your help following our Adoption Requirements is greatly appreciated, as it assists with the permanent placement and
well-being of our rescued dogs. There is a two week trial period to make
sure you and the dog are a good match. PLEASE TAKE OUR ADOPTION AGREEMENTS
SERIOUSLY AS THEY ARE CREATED AND INTENDED TO HELP KEEP THE BEST HOMES
FOR THE RESCUES ONCE THEY ARE ADOPTED!
If you cannot abide by the agreements, please tell us up front, as we wish to make
a dog's "forever" home just that . . . FOREVER!
Please keep in mind that each applicant is treated as an individual. Basset Rescue of
Montana considers ALL factors in our adoption process; A FEW REQUIREMENTS ARE
NOT SET IN STONE. Individual circumstances are taken into consideration.
